The article cites,

“Winter’s chill shouldn’t drive you indoors until the spring thaw. Just the opposite, says the Web site AthritisToday.org. Walking outside in the winter has many health benefits for arthritis sufferers, including burning calories and helping you feel positive and motivated, the site says. The Shocking Numbers of Depressed People as Revealed by an Expert

We were browsing the internet searching for some worthy news on depression and those who suffer from this terrible disease so that we can bring you the ANSWERS that you desire. And so we can demonstrate to you why Exuberil is the number one all-natural cure for depression. We found millions – literally – of different articles, but one caught our eye, where a doctor explains why people who are prone to depression need to seek long term treatment to correct the chemical imbalances in their brains and lead a happy, healthy and long life.

In a question and answer portion of the popular online news portal, CNN.com, in a November 7th, 2009 publication, Mental Health Expert Dr. Charles Raison, Psychiatrist,
Emory University Medical School, cites frequent bouts of depression and the treatment of them as such:

“Our best official data suggest that about 15 percent of American adults will experience a major depressive episode during their lifetimes. However, if you have one episode of depression, the chance of having a second episode increases to 50 percent. That is a 300 percent increase in risk, and it shows the tremendous effect that depression has on the brain and the body. If you've had two episodes of depression, your chances of having a third episode increase to 75 percent. Once you've had three or more episodes of depression, your chances of becoming depressed again approach 100 percent.

As dismal as these figures are, recent studies suggest that they are overly optimistic because they are based on people retrospectively reporting their experiences. I don't need to tell you how much people forget about their own pasts. Studies that have followed normal people prospectively find much higher rates of depression. For example, one very well-designed study from New Zealand that has followed 1,000 people from birth onward has reported that almost half of all people experience a major depression by age 30 (which doesn't surprise me at all, thinking back on my own lonely college experience). A long-running study conducted by the National Institute of Mental Health has observed that 100 percent of patients who entered the study with a depressive episode in the late 1970s have had at least one depressive relapse in the intervening years." (Source: Internet, 2009; CNN.com; Health section.)

So as you can see—if you suffer from Depression, you are not alone.

Here’s the good news.

Why not treat this naturally occurring mental ailment with a PROVEN all-natural cure.

FDA Probing More Diet Pills – Phenocal Still Atop the Safest!

More diet pills are being probed by the FDA in a news report that was issued today – which was actually spurred by a news television station reporting about their tainted and dangerous, illegal ingredients, and that they were making false claims to their customers.

SURPRISE, SURPRISE!

This November 24, 2009 which was published on the popular news medium WFAA.com specifically cites,

“An FDA analysis found some of the products are tainted with harmful levels of prescription drugs, including dangerously high doses of the appetite suppressant subutramine, the main ingredient in the prescription weight loss drug Meridia. The FDA says the drugs they found could cause high blood pressure, seizures, heart attack, stroke, even sudden death. FDA officials say the warnings went un-noticed by some sellers and by dieters willing to try anything to lose weight.”

Be Careful what Pharmaceutical Companies that you Trust for Arthritis Drugs

Many people just take the drugs that their doctors prescribe to them, and they generally don’t think twice about it. However, there can be some real dangers when large conglomerates market drugs that are FDA approved for a particular usage to be used fror other reasons.

Most recent, Pfizer has landed itself in court for many different felony and misdemeanor charges.

In a November Bloomberg.com article that was entitled, “Pfizer Broke the Law by Promoting Drugs for Unapproved Uses,” the article cites,

“For this new felony, Pfizer paid the largest criminal fine in U.S. history: $1.19 billion. On the same day, it paid $1 billion to settle civil cases involving the off-label promotion of Bextra and three other drugs with the U.S. and 49 states. “At the very same time Pfizer was in our office negotiating and resolving the allegations of criminal conduct in 2004, Pfizer was itself in its other operations violating those very same laws,” Loucks, 54, says. “They’ve repeatedly marketed drugs for things they knew they couldn’t demonstrate efficacy for. That’s clearly criminal.””

The article further states,

“On the morning of Sept. 2, 2009, another Pfizer unit, Pharmacia & Upjohn, agreed to plead guilty to the same crime. This time, Pfizer executives had been instructing more than 100 salespeople to promote Bextra, a drug approved only for the relief of arthritis and menstrual discomfort, for treatment of acute pains of all kinds.”

Add Another Failed Prescribed Antidepressant to the Stack

It seems that yet another antidepressant drug has failed the clinical trials, this time the drug is made by a huge German company, and is called Flibanserin. Funny how pharmaceutical companies only care about money and not if you are feeling better. Wouldn’t that be amazing if they had a way to cure your depression, anxiety, stress and insomnia? But they instead choose to make drugs that you must take every day and at a high cost to your pocketbook.

But where there is money to be made, rest assured these companies will.

Now this drug is being touted as a potential sexual enhancer for women.

In a November article that was published on Newsweek.com, the article cites,

“This potential blockbuster, developed by the German drug manufacturer Boehringer Ingelheim, is called flibanserin and it was almost a nonstarter when it was first tested as an antidepressant. Flibanserin didn’t lift mood, but researchers noticed that it had one intriguing quality: it appeared to heighten sexual interest in laboratory animals and humans.”

The drug has yet to pass FDA approval for anything; much less it’s new approach.

Here is some food for thought.

Diet Pills that Claim “Eat All You Want” Finding Selves with Empty Tummies in Court

We have all seen it before. On TV, at the drugstore, at the grocery store, from our friends, or those many different internet ads that seemingly populate the World Wide Web. It’s those diet pills that tell you that you don’t have to workout, you can eat whatever you want, whenever you want, and you will still experience safe, natural and RAPID weight loss!

We have always said RUBBISH to this nonsense!

A diet pill is an AIDE to your weight loss, not the actual method of weight loss itself.

Now, these lying diet pill brands, many which have already been pulled from store shelves by the FDA (US Food and Drug Administration) for using banned and illegal ingredients, are finding themselves facing another necessary civil battle in federal court.

In a November, 2009 RBR.com publication, the article, which is entitled, “FTC goes after diet pills,” cites,

“The FTC summarized the complaints, saying, “The defendants made claims such as ‘eat all you want and still lose weight’ and, ‘And we couldn’t say it in print if it wasn’t true!’ on product packaging, on the Internet, and in widely read magazines such as Redbook, Star, and Family Circle.”
The article further says,

“The government alleges that these defendants made claims that their product would allow you to ‘eat all you want and still lose weight’ without a reasonable basis,” added Tony West, Assistant Attorney General for the Department of Justice’s Civil Division. “Claims like these are harmful to both the health and pocketbooks of those who use these supplements. Working with our partners at the Federal Trade Commission, we will continue to challenge unlawful advertising claims.”

The article cites,

“According to a July study from the National Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine, based on interviews with more than 23,300 adults during the 2007 National Health Interview Survey, almost 40% of adults use some form of complementary and alternative medicine to treat a variety of conditions.

They spent about $33.9 billion on these practices in 2007, accounting for about 11.2% of the public's total out-of-pocket health expenditures. In 1997, the last time such a survey was taken, the figure was $27 billion Self-care, at $22 billion, accounted for the majority of spending, mostly on nonvitamin, nonmineral, natural products. The most popular supplements are fish oil, glucosamine, echinacea and flaxseed. Americans spent $4 billion on yoga, tai chi and qigong classes, and $2.9 billion on homeopathic medicine.

The survey found that visits to practitioners overall have decreased by about 50% since 1997, with the biggest drop seen by providers of energy healing and relaxation techniques.”
